43: Annabelle the Doll- Haunted or Hoax?

On Donna's 28th birthday, her mother gave her a gift. A sweet looking Raggedy-Ann doll. Donna loved it and immediately took it home with her to the apartment she shared with friend and roommate, Angie. And that should have been the end of the story- but it wasn't.

It didn't take long for that Raggedy-Ann doll to start exhibiting some...concerning behaviors. Sometimes she would be found in rooms she most definitely had not been left in. Other times, they would find her in weird positions around the house- like kneeling on a chair or standing against a table. The only problem? When they tried to put the doll in these positions they couldn't get them to stay.

And then there was the small issue of her leaking blood. NEEDLESS to say, the women soon consulted a medium..and then a priest, and eventually Ed and Lorraine Warren, who confirmed the doll had become a conduit for a demon that they called Annabelle

And STILL the story doesn't stop there, because even once Ed and Lorraine Warren removed the doll from the apartment and locked her in a specially-made box, she still managed to sow chaos and fear into whoever dared to question her abilities.
