36: Keddie Cabin Murders
The Keddie Cabin Murders refer to a notorious and brutal homicide case that occurred in Keddie, California, in April 1981 to the Sharp family.
The murders took place in Cabin 28 of the Keddie Resort, a small community nestled in the Sierra Nevada mountains. The victims were found bound and brutally stabbed to death. The case shocked the local community and garnered national attention due to its gruesome nature and the fact that Tina, the youngest daughter, remained missing until her body was found and recovered several years later.
Despite extensive investigations, the case went cold for many years, with various suspects considered and leads pursued. There were allegations of mishandling evidence and potential corruption within law enforcement, adding to the mystery surrounding the case.
In recent years, renewed interest in the Keddie Cabin Murders has led to documentaries, podcasts, and ongoing discussions among amateur sleuths and true crime enthusiasts.
